Good morning customers,
It’s the second email this week with free advice for you all to put into action.
Online reviews have been around for quite some time now and they are definitely the new ‘word of mouth’ recommendations which we all love to see come our way.
The days when someone would walk into the grocers and ask the trusted man behind the counter (generally a farmer), if he knew of a good painter or joiner, are not exactly gone, but the internet is the first port of call for the majority today and going forward.
There is a huge level of trust in this country, so if someone can take the time to write a review online, then 9 times out 10 we take their information and put our trust in their judgement. So it’s less of the ‘oh aye pet, I know a good painter, he’s good and reet cheap tha knows’ and more sit down, search Google and the gang for the product or service you require, from the comfort of your home and from the palm of your hand. At the end of the day, we all like to make our own decisions when purchasing luxury items/services, and we all like to tell others of the cracking deal we spent time finding.
This said, do take note!
The internet is a fragile place. So, make sure that you have done everything that you can to make your customer’s experience a positive one. If there have been any failures to provide them with a perfect product or brilliant service, they can let the whole world know… literally.
Here is a good example for you:
I was searching for reviews on a tent recently, comparing two side-by-side. One of them had some 4 and 5 star reviews, but it also had some reviews which had 1 star.
They had bought the product from Go Outdoors, the camping outlet, and while the customer was complaining about the product, extensively throughout the review, Go Outdoors were praised for their dealings with the ongoing problems.
So please, make sure you do everything you can to make your customer happy. We all want loads of reviews, but if the bad outweigh the good, people won’t even read your reviews when they see a lowly 1, 2 or even 3 stars on your Google+ business page.
If you need me to help you create a great Google+ business page, Free Index profile or Facebook page for you, then don’t hesitate to call me on 0113 2538746 or call my mobile 07810 782433. Alternatively you can email me.
Oh, one final thing. Could you find the time to hit the Google+ image below and leave me a review? My local grocer has shut down and I know someone will be searching online for my services soon.
Until next Tuesday, goodbye, stay safe and enjoy life,
